ROM:  The Register of Merit Point System  indicates which shepherds are good producers.  In order for a dam or sire to become eligible for the ROM designation,  they,  and a specified number of their progeny, must have earned so many  points , including AKC Championship titles.

CH:  Champion

OFA:  Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hips:  "OFA(age in mths when certified)(grade)" where the  passing grade is either E, G, or F  for excellent, good, and fair.  If no grade is present, the dog passed but the grade is unavailable.
